Every Ava Laurénne Bride Christmas Ball begins with a story, and in 2025, that story was rooted deeply in home, history, and heartfelt nostalgia. The theme, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” was inspired by the very walls that hold Ava Laurénne Bride, a historic building that once served as a general store for the mill community in the 1940s. Having witnessed decades of life, love, and Christmases past, the space itself became the muse.
At its heart, the Christmas Ball was designed to feel like a homecoming. The kind of Christmas you remember, timeless, cinematic, and deeply personal. Guests were encouraged to lean into 1940s fashion, swing music filled the air, and for one magical night, it felt as though time itself had slowed down. The result was an evening that didn’t just celebrate Christmas, it honored memory, history, and the joy of being together.

An Evening in Motion: From Vintage Arrival to Swing Dance Celebration
From the moment guests arrived, the experience was carefully curated to tell a story. Outside the boutique, guests were welcomed with a scene straight from a vintage Christmas postcard. A real train station bench sat beneath an “Arrived” sign, flanked by a charming Charlie Brown–style Christmas tree. A stunning, bright red 1940s Mercury automobile was pulled up as if it had just arrived at the station, its back filled with suitcases and wrapped Christmas gifts. As guests posed for photos, a snow machine brought the scene to life, creating the feeling of stepping off a train and home for the holidays. Inside, guests were greeted by an opulent, period-inspired charcuterie display by Gatherings by Mercer, immediately setting the tone that this was not just a party, but a ball. Bottles and Bubbles served signature champagne cocktails featuring frozen orange juice cubes with cranberries, rosemary, and citrus. Union Station came alive with interactive moments throughout the space. The Traveling Penny hosted permanent jewelry and charm bracelets at the post office, where brides received their final charm of 2025, a gold wreath adorned with star details. Little Leaf Coffee Company served warm gingerbread-spiced drinks beneath the departures and arrivals board, offering comfort and coziness in every cup. Santa himself awaited guests near the train, accompanied by two reindeer, handing out candy canes and star-shaped treats. In the café, Couture Cakes of Greenville delivered a show-stopping display, including classic bundt cakes and a six-foot-tall rotating wedding cake adorned with navy ribbons, stripes, and gold stars. Guests enjoyed slices of red velvet and dark chocolate cake with Biscoff cookie filling, a subtle nod to travel and holiday journeys. One of the most unforgettable moments of the evening came during filming. Guests were positioned throughout the space in carefully curated vignettes inspired by Norman Rockwell paintings. As Gabriel Rivera performed “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” the room stood still. When the music transitioned into swing-era dance tracks, the space burst into motion, an organic, joyful dance party that felt straight out of a movie.
The Magic Makers Who Brought The Christmas Ball To Life

A Love Letter To Bridal Design
The fashion show was a celebration of artistry, featuring nearly 80 gowns from Ava Laurénne Bride’s collection. Standout moments included the debut of newly arrived designs, shipped from Britain just days before the event in a poetic reflection of the theme of coming home. Clean silhouettes, delicate bows, floral overlay tops, and removable overskirts created a subtle nod to vintage elegance, including one unforgettable look with a lace column underskirt inspired by Audrey Hepburn. The runway highlighted both drama and versatility, with designs showcased across different body types to emphasize fit, movement, and individuality. A deeply emotional moment closed the show as Ava Laurénne herself walked the runway in a fully encrusted off-the-shoulder gown, leaving the audience on their feet and visibly moved.
