About our founders

The Love Story That Started It All

In 2004, Wendy and Gabe Rivera first met in Greenville, South Carolina, while serving on a traveling Christian drama team, beginning the love story that would one day inspire Ava Laurénne Bride. Years later, they built their boutiques with the same intention that shaped their relationship, every detail, from the name Ava Laurénne honoring their daughter to the clocks set one minute to midnight and the white chairs throughout the boutique, was chosen with purpose and meaning. Their dream has always been to create more than a place to shop for a wedding dress, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience where love, connection, and celebration become memories that last forever.
